Marché is a European-style cafe and marketplace serving breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner in the heart of Historic East Nashville. My neighborhood. Last week I happily shot some signature breakfast dishes. You can’t beat the strong coffee. If you are ever in Nashville this restaurant is must do.

They met working with the youth at The People’s Church over five years ago. Michael emailed Heather this summer to see if she would ever be interested in running with him while he trained for a half marathon in Healdsburg, CA. They met the following Saturday to run 5 miles together and talked and laughed the entire time. So, after running together a few more times and surprising her with smoothies in a cooler after their second run, he finally asked her on a real date, and the rest was history. They ended up running the half marathon together the last weekend of October dressed up as the Jolly Green Giant and Sprout, and he proposed the weekend of the run at sunset while sitting under live mistletoe on a hilltop patio overlooking a glistening vineyard below. Then, Michael informed her that he wanted to start the new year off together as a married couple. They began the marathon sprint of planning and executing a wedding in five weeks. The wedding was beautiful and sixty-five degrees out in December. It was meant to be and they made it to the finish line.
